Policies & Information
Private and Duet Studio Sessions:
24-Hour Cancellation Policy: If a booked private or duet session is cancelled within 24 hours of the start time or if the client does not show, the full fee for that session will still be charged. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours of start time are also subject to this policy. 24-hour cancellation policies are industry standard among Pilates studios, to protect instructors' time and livelihood. (A rare exception may be made in case of true emergency or sudden illness / injury.)
Duet Session Cancellation Policy: The same 24 hour policy applies to Duet Sessions. In addition, Duet clients must understand that a commitment has been made to their partner- to attend as consistently as possible. If one Duet Session partner cancels more than 24 hours before an appointment, the other client will be upgraded to a Private Session, and owe the difference between a duet and a private. If one partner late cancels, the other partner will receive a private session for the cost of a duet. If one duet partner cancels frequently, their standing reservation will be subject to forfeit.
Fragrances: Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, or other fragranced products. We take this VERY seriously, for health reasons.
Session Length: Private and duet sessions are 55 minutes.
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely, and please leave your shoes by the entrance.
Cell Phones: Please silence all devices prior to the start of your session.
Scheduling: Manage your bookings with our online scheduler, and/or email us for cancellations and rescheduing. If a client fails to make a confirmed scheduling change, and the session in question remains unchanged, that session will be subject to the 24-hour late cancellation policy. You'll know a change has successfully been made when you receive an email confirmation. By the same token, if you receive an appointment reminder email for a session you had meant to cancel or change, please email us ASAP to correct the issue: waynesvillepilates@gmail.com
Confirmations: Private and Duet appointment confirmations are emailed to clients at the time a service is booked. Reminders are emailed 2 days prior to each appointment. Rescheduling and cancellation confirmations are emailed at the time a change is made.
Payment: All payment is due at or before the time of service, and may be made by credit card or check, payable to Waynesville Pilates. All sales are final.
Full vs. Part-Time Residents: In order to be considered a full-time / local resident, you must consistently live in this area all year round.

Packages may be used by anyone of your choosing (for instance: instead of late canceling, a friend or family member may use that session).
Expired Package Extensions: Expired packages may be extended for 14 days by paying the balance between its original cost and the cost of the same number of single sessions. For example, a package of 5 Private Sessions ($365) may be extended by paying $10: the difference between the cost of the package and 5 single Private Sessions (a total of $375).
